If you answer “YES” to any of these questions please get in touch to find out how we may be able to help.
Learning Space works with children and young people who are referred by their parents. These children are usually struggling and may have issues around school attendance, friendship, anger, bereavement, anxiety, low self-esteem / confidence or behaviour.
At the outset Learning Space will arrange a meeting with you to find out more information and decide whether or not the support we offer is the most appropriate. Following this we will design an individualised programme.
The precise focus of the work will address the specific needs of the child but is likely to include some of the following; searching for individual strengths and resources, goal setting, coping strategies and activities to build confidence and self-esteem.
These programmes usually last between four and eight weeks.
The cost is £20 for approximate half hour session.
“my daughter’s meetings with Learning Space have had a dramatic effect – she is now more confident, open and feels able to approach her teachers or staff about problems she has in the classroom” (mother of Sarah, aged 11)
